I don't think anyone said he was as good as Priest. I could be wrong though, as I am kind of drunk.

I don't think any Chiefs fans thought he was as good as Priest... but, we think he's decent. He's certainly no Mike Cloud.
Tho, this thread did afford me the opportunity to laugh again at the retard Bolts fan who the other day claimed Priest was simply an "ordinary" back whose success was attributed soley to the O-line. Haha.

Nobody's saying Blaylock is as good as Priest Holmes. New England is a tough team to run against. I think Blaylock would be a more effective running back the more he and the offense works together. I did notice toward the end of the game that he was able to put together a couple of decent runs.

Although I have not been on the board in months back when I had more time to converse here I have been a huge Blaylock fan from the beginning. I have stated several times that if given the chance and over time he could be every bit as good if not better because he has break away(Clinton Portis speed) that Priest does not. Blaylock just needs more snaps to continue to improve on 2 things: 1)Waiting on his blockers to give him the seam he needs which he seems to be catching on quite well and learning how to use his body for more power. I really believe he does have the power already but just needs to improve on body technique to gain the physical leverage when needed. Anybody who say's Blaylock doesn't have much power is not football educated in evaluating Derrick. By all means I am Priest fan and I say that because I know there will be some who want to come after me.
