KC and Indy stats

KC and Indy have almost indentical offensive and defensive total yardage stats -- theories on why such different points allowed and win/loss record?

Yup, that pretty much covers it. We have one of the worst turnover ratios in the league.

We have 11 combined FR and INTS? And then combine that with our TOs that have happened deep in enemy territory in the 2nd half and it's easy to see why we are what we are.

Yeah, and the fact that we can keep pace with the elite teams in terms of offensive statistics is pretty amazing considering the turnovers and penalties.....

Turnover differential.

Plus the fact that the Chiefs have this uncanny knack for losing the ball in the red zone.

I think four or five of our losses can be traced to single plays. Chiefs could easily be 9-3 right now...or at least 8-4 (should have won against the Titans, Bucs, Saints and Chargers). Hopefully the Chiefs will get a couple playmakers on defense in the offseason and cut the laggards that have taken the Chiefs to the bottom-five in defense the last three seasons.

I think it's safe to say the special teams haven't helped either.

Don't you mean the Texans? We haven't played the Titans yet. Course you could be psychic...

You also have to remember this is Sir Peyton we are talking about. The NFL changed the rule just for him.
