The offensive line is impressive, but I don't think just any RB could have success with it. |

Nope. While Blaylock is quick, fastest RB on the team, he's no Priest Holmes. The proof is in our record, the getting stopped short of 1st downs, no power to run over the defender and get the 1st down.
I firmly believe that despite our piss poor defense, we'd have gotten a couple more wins with Priest healthy and still be in the hunt. I'm curious with the way Johnson has matured how he'd have done with the carries way back when Priest got hurt. As far as I'm concerned Johnson should get all the carries now, see how he holds up cause Blaylock is gone. Frankly, that's okay with me cause Blaylock didn't win games for us. Johnson has...the last two weeks. So, I guess my actual response to your question is MAYBE. MAYBE Blaylock isn't really a "semi-talented" RB, and Johnson is. |

The system is good, no doubt.
But these backs are talented. Blaylock has GREAT speed and good quickness and average power. He can catch the ball well. Johnson has better speed than Priest, and has great acceleration and even better power. We're loaded.
