any one ever blown out a knee?
Yesterday I was pushing kids sleding and my knee bent inward and made a noise like clothes ripping. Is that bad, can I just walk this off for a few days ordo I need to go to a doctor. It is very stiff today and hurts when twisted inward.

I'm not a doctor but if a heard a clothes ripping noise coming from my knee area and it's not my pants, I'd be a bit worried. It sounds like something might have been torn.

This happened to me when I was playing sand volleyball a couple years ago. My partner fell on my knee and I felt a pop. I wanted to take the safe road and get it checked out, but we were breezing through the winners bracket. I kept playing but reduced my mobility and jumping at the net. We won the tournament and I couldn't walk later that night.

I kept ice on it for 2 days and was as good as new after that. I still don't know what happened.

When I tore my knee up, it was a loud Pop...and it Felt like something Popped.........that and an intense Burn and pain.

I thought I'd broken my leg for a minute.

Is it "Stable"?
You should probably get it looked at.

Sounds like you have a loose knee, hyper-extended it ? If you have no insurance .....Ice it down,Brace it and take a large dose ( 4 tablets )daily of Glucosamine-Chondroitin for 2 weeks, if you don't feel up to par, have it checked out.
