Elam gets the benefit of kicking at altitude. That is at least as much of an asterisk as violating the salary cap. He is no better than the 3rd best kicker in the AFC now. No way does he get the Hall.

Hate the , but he has a TON of game winning kicks, two superbowls, and shares the record for longest fieldgoal ever kicked. I also expect that he will be kicking for a very long time.

I loved Lowrey, but if he wanted to be considered for this list he should not have retired so early.

Jan is supposed to be the best ever, but I have never even seen a video of kicking a single kick. Hard to imagine, but it's true. I didn't start watching football untill around 1990... I've seen plenty of SuperBowl highlite videos but never of a kick. So I can't very well vote for somebody that I've never seen kick...
