Carl waits until more people around 15 are slotted. Specifically Thomas Davis.

It won't be a problem. I think Carl learned his lesson with Ryan Sims.

When does DJ sign?
When he sits down and shuts the $%# up. He's gotta sign him before Dallas signs the #11 and #20, or it will take a long time since Jones pays well.

But Carl definitely changed a bit after the whole Engledork fiasco. I'm guessing his buddy Vermeil told him he'd appreciate having his players there on time. |

I heard an interview with a sportswriter from some Texas paper last week (sorry, didn't catch which one), and when asked about the agent, he said he was a good guy who shouldn't be a problem, although Johnson was his biggest client to date. Which could be a problem in and of itself.
I'm expecting it to get done fairly fast. It wouldn't surprise me if he was one of the first 1st rounders under contract. That's just a gut feeling, though. And we all know how accurate those are. |

The off season has been too perfect to ruin it with a hold out. Carl will get him to camp on time you can bank on it.
