If it's the one I saw yesterday, Stram talks about "negotiating" the ball down the field.

1970 Season is on now. Man, what a treat this is to go back to yesteryear and the era I became a Cheifs fan.

How the heck Otis Taylor does not get into the HOF is a total joke!

It is a damn conspiracy, I tell ya!

Otis Taylor in 10 years played in 130 games, caught 410 passes for 7306 yards and 57 TDs.

Campare those numbers to John Stallworth, who is in the Hall.
In 14 seasons, he caught 537 passes for 8723 yards and 63 TDs.

Lynn Swann's numbers are even less remarkable.
In 9 seasons he had 336 receptions for 5462 yards and 51 TDs.

How the hell can the voters even begin to justify Swann's selection and Otis' snub?

Two more Chiefs who belong in the HOF are Emmit Thomas, who is 9th all time in career Ints. with 58, and Johnny Robinson, who is tied for 10th with 57.

I just loved watching 89 run with the ball after the catch. What an athlete. He would juke somebody then jump over them when they fell down. And he had a kick that would shoot him ahead a couple of yards and make the defender look stupid. (I think that's where Walter Payton got it). Can you imagine what it would cost to sign him today?

You poor souls that don't have the NFL Network. The 69 Chiefs, Hank Stram's Chiefs, both Super Bowls, Hank himself, interviews with Hank's players have been featured over and over all week long. Lots of great memories.

It is a channel that your local cable company may not carry. Directv anyone?

Cmon you don't suppose all those Super Bowl victories had a little bit of influence on them making the HOF.

OOOoooooooh and that KICK ASS defense. Culp and Buchanan in the middle with Aaron Brown and Jerry Mayes at DE. Lanier, Bell and Lynch at LB. Thomas, Robinson, Marsalis and Kearney at DB. What a wrecking crew.
