What did you have for dinner?

I thought I would redo an old classic. What are you having or did you have for dinner?

Yum.

Cheese whiz is where its at. Some use melted provolone, which is not bad either.
They offer provolone and American as well.

Here's a review they've got hanging on the wall of the joint. Apparently they took this review to heart... the onions are chopped now.

A Philly transplant weighs in on the Valley's new crop of heros
By CRYSTAL PETROCELLI
GET OUT

Who better to judge the East Valley's latest crop of cheesesteak shops than a guy whose father opened the award-winning Jimís Steaks in south Philly back in 1976?

Ahwatukee Foothills resident and apparent ďRockyĒ fan Mike Silver grew up making and munching cheesesteaks ó heís a true Whiz kid.
Silver and I hit the four most recent additions to our cheesesteak market to find out whoís a contender and whoís a pretender.

PHILADELPHIA SANDWICH CO.
Opened: March 2005
Cheesesteak price: $6.50 for 10-incher

Silver's take: The champ. Why? Three words: The roll, the roll, the roll. The meat has good quality, consistency, flavor and thereís plenty of it. The rolls are flown in from Philly twice a week ó crusty outside, spongy inside. When everything else is equal, it makes all the difference. The Cheez Whiz is just right. Onions are sliced, which is my only real criticism. A- Our take: Definitely the most sandwich for the money, but the steak isnít sliced thinly enough. I prefer an almost shaved consistency. It isnít finely chopped, either ó too many big bites of meat. Great hearty, crusty baked roll. A nice layer of Cheez Whiz. Grilled onions are in strings and donít have much flavor. B Try it: 7158 E. Fifth Ave., Scottsdale, (480) 970-1102 or www.phillysandwichco.com.

Now that I know what it is, it does sound better...so what's for dinner tonight..

My wife is out of town, so I kind of forgot to have dinner last night. I ended up having some bread and some orange juice.

lil momma is on a 30 day all fruits and vegetables diet so that's all I eat at night now. Made some chicken tacos today at work though that ruled.

Breakfast was sauted onions and garlic followed with some morrell mushrooms and then 3 eggs topped with heirloom tomatoes, freshly chopped basil and topped with a little grated Italian Fontina cheese.

I like to eat.
