Why are the Redskins the most valuable American sports team?

I think the Redskins ($1B) are 2nd most valuable in the world behind only Manchester United ($2B).

Why so valuable?

Only one thing comes to my mind after hearing that.

They have more luxury suites than any other stadium. A lot more. Combine that with all the money in Washington, and it's a recipe for Cash Cow.

Govt. Pork barrel spending. A little publicized clause on senate bill 2000435.68 provides government subsidies for the Redskins when they have a final record 0.500 or below.

They haven't had a winning record since 1999 so they have collected an exorbitant amount of public money.

It's just more proof that we're a country of racists.
