Sure we do, We figure that they are going to figure out what we are doing and stop it.

We adjust by taking what works and stopping it before they can stop us at it... we got'em good, didn't we???

I don't know. I happen to think that their 'adjustments' caused the offense to bog down. Went away from what worked early in the game.

Last year, when this team was 0-3 and in trouble DV put the game in the hands of his offensive line and they won 3 of the next 4. Baltimore, Atlanta and Indy were dominating performances by this offensive line. Then for some reason, they decide to get cute and the losses pile up again. It's almost as if Saunders and DV can't stand being a dominate running team. Someone should clue them in on how much it would help their defense if they embraced that approach a little.

They were dominating running Holmes then what?

They start subbing in LJ for a red-hot Holmes.
He fumbles the ball.
They go empty backfield and the Eagles read it for a pick-TD.

Their adjustments lost the game IMHO.

Exactly.

At least on the offensive side, Bob Dole is getting really tired of moving away from what works before the defense shows that they can stop it.

You can also look at it from the opposite perspective. Maybe they were performing over their head and "adjustments" had less to do with the situation then the reality of the situation. Without coaches, the Chiefs would never be up 17-0 going against a superior football team with an offense made up mostly of undrafted talent and projects. Then things come back down to earth. Your 7th round draft picks can't block their 1st round draft picks and when you turn the ball over 3 times on your own side no wonder why you lost.

Fans want to bitch about adjustments not being made but if you're gonna do that how about giving the coaching staff some credit for developing a team good enough to blow out a superbowl team for a quarter and a half when you have a makeshift unit in there?

BS! We had the crowd rockin'. NO reason to stop giving Holmes the ball until they can stop it. This RB by committee has to stop.

So you think Holmes would've rushed for 320 yards had he kept running the ball?? Because that's the pace he was on through 1 quarter. Look at his 2nd half carries. Better yet go back through the play by play I put up last night and look at his carries after the first quarter. You don't think the Eagles figured him out?

What was responsible for the crowd rocking? Was it the 17-0 lead? Did the coaching staff have nothing to do with that 17-0 lead?
