Sterling Sharp on NFL Network

Sterling was assessing the games and when it came to the upcoming Chargers\Raiders game, he started calling Jerry Porter out, then he added that "the KC Chiefs fans thought I talked too much about Randy Moss...so I'm going to talk about Jerry Porter" Then his fellow commentator Solomon Wilcots said "you did..you did".
Just funny how it got back to Sharp and he actually dealt with it well. Sharp does have a lot of good football anayzing qualities and is usually very enjoyable to listen to.

You know, if all the pissing and moaning Chiefs fans did actually got back to Sharpe, it was well worth it IMO.

The guy's always been a solid analyst. Maybe he's a step closer to being a better announcer now too.

I like his analysis and his ESPN stuff, I just don't think he's a great play by play guy...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Sterling Sharpe is a good analyst. I find him a little too hyper, or possibly excited. Would any of you agree?

He does bring energy to the table, I do enjoy him and his football humor most of the time.

Sharpe usually has decent insight, but he needs to learn to quit talking so damned loud.

That was the first time he was really being an analysis for an NFL game wasn't it? It sounded like he just kinda got thrown into the fire.

...Agreed. I never, in the past, had too much of a problem with what Sharpe had to say. From what I understand the Chiefs/Fader game was his first play by play gig and he was a bit out of his element. IMO.

They all try and out shout, talk over, each other. interrupt for style points,
Let your other table mates finish their train of thought.

Entertainment vs analysis. that's why Inside NFL HBO seems a little more controlled.
