Typically, I see about as much as possible in a very limited time because you never know when you will be in that part of the world again. I do, however, try to have at least a couple of days where I do nothing but drink beer in the sun.

I vacation about 11 weeks a year. Uptime, downtime, blasted, hiking up a 12,000 foot molehill. Skiing the chutes, the fall lines, above treeline. Deep powder. Groomed heaven. The Basin at Vail. Mixing it up with the locals in Playa Del Carmen. Xel - Ha. Snorkeling at 30 ft below. Dos Equis with a lime. RAGBRAI. Steak night. Riding the bike at .20+. Boobs. Daytona. Bullfights on acid. Frisbee golf with friends. Slow walks in the park while the rest of the world slaves. These are a few of my favorite things.
