Using the shotgun= more success on 3rd downs

Anyone else notice that one of the adjustments the Chiefs made in the 2nd half was using the shotgun on almost every 3rd and long. I don't think they used the shotgun at all in the first half. And the result was the Chiefs converted several of those 3rd and longs in the 2nd half.

I can't figure out why they don't use the shotgun on a more consistent basis, seems to work well for them when they do

The Chiefs have sucked in the shotgun before tonight.

12 out of 27 for 117 yards.

Last year they were pretty good. 67 out of 109, 896 yards, 6 TD, 3 INT
