How to tie office trash bags?

So, is there a preferred method? One of the top 1,000 things that I hate in the world is a trash can bag that falls into the trash can as it fills up with trash. I've noticed the professional custodial engineers somehow tie the trash bag in order to reduce its diameter around the lip of the can, thereby decreasing the chance of it falling into the can. My office trash bag invariably falls into the can after reaching about 60% capacity. That's unacceptable.

You've got to be kidding me. You don't know how to tie a garbage bag to the garbage can? You still wear velcro shoes?

It's easy. You call the nearest Hispanic person. They're probably the custodian.

If you are filling your trash can more than 60% of the way each day you are throwing too much stuff out!

When I was in high school, one of our special ed kids had a job helping out the school janitor. One time I was sitting in the library, and this kid came in and marched over to a trash can. The janitor was standing outside the doorway.

As we all watched with interest, he pulled the lid off the can, bent over, and stuck his head inside the trash can. Then he pulled out and yelled (in the library, remember), "Yep! It still stinks!"

On the Donger issue, I would go with just a regular bow knot. Simple, but effective.

Good. Rain Man arrives.

Check your trash can, and advise soonest the method with which your office trash can bag is tied.

* Edit - I have commercial trash bags in my trash can (home office) and there is not enough loose bag to form a mother****ing bow knot.
