After the way he was treated by 95% of the fans after he was drafted I don't blame him.

I think he just needs to understand how fans are. They love having someone to hate, but they also have a very short memory.

Exactly. The problem is that LJ can't stop reminding the fans how much they dislike(d) him. Do you hear Trent crying about how all the fans and media called him TrInt? Do you hear Bartee, Dexter, or Warfield griping about the way fans hate them. I realize that those guys earned ire through on field performance, but still...the fans were absolutely brutal to Trent, but he's not constantly whining about it now.

LJ needs to just chill out and ignore the haters. I sat by his family at the NE game, and I almost told them as much. I was just going to say, "Tell LJ to ignore the haters. This town will love him if he keeps performing."
