Dallas Should Be A Win

We have seen a lot of the 3-4 it seems this year so there should be nothing of confusion there.

Our power running game should be able to counter their speed on defense.

Our Defense should have no problems forcing Bledsoe into a few pics!

Just don't turn the ball over and don't make any boneheaded coaching decisions and this game is ours.

If you wanna call San Diego and New England "a lot". Dallas 3-4 is more like SD's 3-4 as far as how they go about generating pressure and you should know the problems that created. The difference between dallas and San Diego is Dallas has pro bowl caliber players at practically every other position.

KC hasn't faced a defense this speedy all year long.

We can take em. No doubt about it. Our D should be able to stop them and we can put up enough points to get the W.

Here is what worries me about Dallas:

'05 - at Buffalo.
'04 - at Tampa.
'04 - at N.O.
'03 - at Cincy.
'03 - at Minn.
'02 - at SF.

Every year since Vermeil has been in town the Chiefs lose a game or two on the road against inferior teams. At least on paper these teams weren't as good and looked like wins.

Jets ran a 4-3 and Houston doesn't really run anything - unless you wanna call standing around and watching ball carriers blow by "running" a defense.

Add Jacksonville to that list as well.

It's just not the chiefs it's every nfl team. Winning on the road is tough. Football is an emotional sport and football players tend to be more emotional then the avg person anyway. That's both good and bad. If 70,000 are yelling for them they feed off that and transfer that positive emotion into positive phyiscal energy and manic like, on top of the world, mood. Unfortunately, that can also work the other way. Yell "at" them and question their ability and that physical energy and good mood is replaced by lack of confidence and anxiety which effects performance negatively.

Add to that the actual effects on the game itself such as the inability of the quarterback to communicate at the line of scrimmage and it's no wonder.

Again, my biggest concern is with our O.

Dallas' strength is their D (especially pass D), and if the Chiefs' O reverts to "Buffalo" mode, we're hosed.

Surprisingly, SF scored the most points on Dallas this year (31); they’ve held everyone else under 24.

At least this time, we have Roaf in there. I think Black really hurt us in Buffalo.

But still, ANY road game worries me. Dallas has its back to the wall. It's at home. We have a long history of disappointing just when we think we're turning a corner.

Yep.

If we can manage their pressure in the passing game, we will win going away.

The key is to rattle the QB though not take him out. Every time we take out a QB the backup beats us WTF?
