heh... happened across this port that lets you play the old original doom on window xp.

lets you change the controls so you can use your mouse etc ... also lets you change the resolutions up to today's standards.

even lets me use the mouse wheel to change weapons

game is still great

Once you beat Doom 3, it unlocks all the classic Doom games. I wasted many hours of my life blasting away on that game.

I loved the original Doom but was a huge Marathon fan as well. Doesn't get nearly the props that Doom or Wolf 3D do.

I remember playing the ol' Doom game. It was awesome. Duke Nukem 3D was pretty sweet too.
