NoAdware V 4.0

Anyone us noadware v 4.0? The first time I ran it it came up with 300+ crap to clear off my computer. (tremendous help) These are all items that adaware and spybot didn't detect. Now every time I run it it comes up with these same items, says it deletes them but their still there when I run it again.

My number one rule. Dont use spyware removers unless it is one of the big 3. Lavasoft, Microsoft, or Spybot.

I have tried plenty of new ones and they usually end up with worse side effects. Many actually place spyware or trohjans on your machine.

Note on NoAdware: NoAdware was listed on this page because of concerns with false positives and the use of aggressive, deceptive advertising (1, 2, 3) including exploitation of the name "ad-aware" (1). Earlier versions of NoAdware were also the same underlying application as Adware Hitman, Consumer Identity, Protect Your Identity, SpyBan, SpywareAssassin, Spyware C.O.P., SpywareKilla, The Adware Hunter, & TheSpywareKiller. Over the past few months, NoAdware has taken aggressive steps to reign in its affiliates (who were primarily responsible for the unsavory advertising) and released a new version of NoAdware (version 3.0) that addresses our concerns with false positves. Given these changes we can no longer regard NoAdware as "rogue/suspect" anti-spyware.

This is what the Rogue list says about it. I have V 4.0. My machine was getting wicked slow before I ran it. I use AdAware - SBS$D - Spyware Blaster. None of them caught what Noadware caught. After I ran it, my computer was fast again and back to normal. Some of what it found had to be removed manually.
