Very bizzare sound problem
I played a CD in a friends comp, and now the thing will only play DOS sounds. WTH?!? Troubleshooter was also quite bumfuzzled. OS is XP SP2.
Anyone? Thanks for any help.

I've been working with computers for 15 years and the only sound I ever heard DOS make is "beep".

The only thing I can think of is to reload the driver for your sound card. Good luck.
