My vote is for Pat Forde, but that's just because he's an asshole and a Rick Reilly wannabe who rubs everyone wrong with his articles. He's not technically poor at what he does, but I hate him nonetheless.

Whitlock is good at what he does, he just inserts retarded opinions in there sometimes in an effort to stir more stuff up. In other words, like Forde... and notice what that's gotten them (national gigs with "the worldwide leader in sports").

Mike Bianchi (Orlando Sentinel) is pretty crap. Joe Biddle (Nashville Tennessean) is also pretty terrible. On a national scale, Pastabelly is full of shit nine times out of ten.

I went to college with Pat. You nailed him, right down to the Reilly thing. Not only was the same criticism leveled at him 19 years ago, but he all but admitted it, too.

He was the best writer there at the time, and he knew it. And he usually let you know it, too.
