Walt Harris' contract was pretty damn cheap!

49ers | Contract breakdown: W. Harris
Sun, 19 Mar 2006 11:14:16 -0800

San Francisco 49ers CB Walt Harris signed a two-year contract with base salaries of $835,000 (2006) and $835,000 (2007).

*Now that is a pretty damn good contract for a half decent CB. Knowing we coulda had this guy, and Lamar, Carl just continue to sit on their a**es. Damn it!!

Yeah me too. We just continue to allow these FA's slip through our hands. No urgency whatsoever to improve this football team. None.

Harris is on the decline. That Washington D compensated for him last year.

I think, given the cotract he signed to return to Seattle, it seems fairly apparent that he really wanted to stay in Seattle.

I would have been more pissed if Carl had overpaid for him just to overcome his desire to remain in Seattle.
