Need help get rid of old files and pics off computer

Just need a way to do this so my computer run fast and without clutter.

uh well..you can use this program
http://www.win.tue.nl/sequoiaview/
to find big chunks of files, easily...but I'm not sure that will make it 'run fast and without clutter'

I think your looking at a format.
