How does a CA-style recall election work? Don't we vote on whether or not to recall Bush at the same time?

I thought (and if I'm wrong then just forget the CA reference) that it was Gray Davis running against 90 other people at the same time. And if Gray lost, then he was recalled.

In anycase, those voting *not* to "recall" Bush in this poll need to simply vote for Bush. I think it's that simple.

I could be wrong too, but I thought there were two side by side issues on the ballot. One was whether or not to recall Davis and the other was who should replace him if he is recalled. But your clarification helps me. There are other candidates I'd rather have than Bush, but I wouldn't vote to recall him so I'll vote GWB.

Wow, I'm guessing that so far, only the Dems (and Pat) are responding to this poll... otherwise we've got some vewwy pissed off Republicans around here.

Dems = 7
Bush = 1
Reps (not Bush) = 0

I would first go for Giuliani so I voted for him.

Then Lieberman, Bayh or Romney

I need to know more about Barak Obama but he has some admirable traits.

Definitely vote for recalling Bush

I voted Libertarian, but I just might be willing to vote for Tancredo based solely on his immigration positions.

Barry Handsome did pretty well, what with having the second-most votes (3) in the poll. Not as well as BUSH, of course, but...

Jesus Christ, five retards actually would have voted for Bush? In 2006?
