If you could be any kind of bird, what would you choose?
So, in the spirit of good parenting, my wife decided to get a bird feeder. The kids were really enjoying it until later this afternoon, when apparently a Cooper's Hawk decided to ambush the other cute, fluffy birds at the feeder and eat a few. While watching the hawk consume his smaller breathren, I wondered the above question for myself.

I'd like to be a male Western Tanager.

A Peregrine Falcon? World's fastest bird, if my geekness recalls. 200+ mph in a dive?
