I will keep that in mind. I think I have a good set of owners in here though. If something strange happens or if someone drops I will look ya up.

BTW - is anyone having problems uploading files to the planet right now? I can't get anything to upload.

I sent an IM to Austin and he is taking a look at it. We know what the issue is.

After that draft I had to turn around an do a live auction draft that one of the guys didn't show up at, so we had to bring in a replacement. Stupid thing took almost 8 hours and I wasn't sure I ever wanted to deal with FF ever again.

I was pretty disappointed that nobody went after Dee Brown in the first round of my Auction draft.

Wow, that took some thought and should be very interesting.

Does the bidding for RFA not include contract time, or is that determined by the owner after they officially own the player?

I also would say I'm pretty sure we are not using Yahoo.

Damnit. I thought I got that out of there. Oh well. If that was my only mistake, I will let it stay.

The RFA bidding is not set in stone yet. I will discuss this with all the owners later in the year. It is a very complicated process for a commish to run and I don't know if I want to get that far into it. But, like I said, no decisions have been made to get rid of it yet either. Part of me wants to make it a blind auction and another part wants to just let the free agents fall back to the draft pool.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised to see that in there. I wouldn't blame you one bit for letting that drop and just making them true FA's.

Though if someone outside the owners could handle the bids there would be some cool options available, but at the same time, finding someone willing to take that kind of time could be difficult as well.

Now, if we could get everyone online at the same time we could just do it on an IM engine like yahoo or something. Still complicated but could be done a couple hours then.

True, but of course we couldn't get everyone to a draft ontime either. LOL!
