Rest assured, all of your problems are over.
With the recent and suprising retirement by Trent Green the Chiefs have pulled off a move of epic proportions. They have gone to their ace in the hole, Akili Smith. Smith, a former first round draft choice of the Cincinatti Bengals and an accomplished player, is expected to start for the Chiefs by Sunday, September 18th at Denver.
Akili has several passing records in Cincinatti, including: interceptions, fumbles, and a 29% lifetime completion percentage.

This was confirmed by my Great Aunt's former high school drama teacher.
