Thanks to fans of NO and KC.
I played hard, and like I'd be in the NFL for a couple of seasons.
Its hard to imagine he played professionally for so many years.
So fortunate to play with great coaches and players.
mentioned only playoff win with NO.....and sadly, only playoff win in his
career.

Offensive production in KC has been very gratifing for him.

Could feel Energy while driving to Arrowhead.
Walking out of the tunnel was awesome.
Loved walking into the sea of red.

Body won't do it anymore, last year body never
felt good....first time since 10 years old that he'd
not play organized football.

During offseason, he felt he would be able to play 1 more year....during OTAs,felt his body was letting him down and his skills were declining.

Became angry that his body was letting him down.
Then became fearful.....what am I gonna do.

"I'm sorry I didn't address this earlier, but it was very painful and I didn't know how to come to grips with it"

Thanks to the fans in NO and KC Chiefs.....Always amazed at the passion of Chiefs fans. Very proud of his career acomplishments.....sad he wasn't able to bring a SB to NO or KC. Likes to thank his teamates and RBs and QBs who made him look better.

thanks to family. His father attended every home game of his career....except 1. Thanking his management.

Thank you to fans in KC and NO....cannot put into words how much he'll miss hearing us on Sundays.

some guy....Brian Flynn came out before.....made some statements on Roaf's behalf.
1. Willi talked to Trent Green at some time.
2. Will Shields flew to california, spent day, watched Rams game with Roaf and spent the night in his home with his family.

Chiefs knew of his intentions....I assume after OTAs began.
