Offense:

2015 is better at QB, WR (although I doubt Smith will play as well in the playoff game as he did in 2013, where he played the best game of his career)

2013 had a better line and a better RB, but the RBs will actually be better for 2015 due to the Charles injury in the WC game. West and Ware are better than Davis and Gray

2015 Defense is quite a bit better, largely due to internal player development and drafted players (Peters).

I think so. Legitimate deep threat. Better secondary.

Mentally, they are tougher.

2015 team is better overall talent wise other than the offensive line.

2013 team had to rely on guys like Bowe, Avery and Fasano as the leading weapons in the passing game and had the likes of Marcus Cooper, Dunta Robinson, and Kendrick Lewis starting or playing major roles in the secondary.

The difference in that game was the secondary, and the secondary is a strength now. We're significantly better. I don't now if we are contenders, but this team is better than that team was.

I agree.

Not having Demps, D Robinson and Kendrick Lewis back there is addition by subtraction dude.

But yeah overall the secondary is better due to improved safety depth and drafting Peters. I still think the CB depth on this team is sh*tty. I think it would've been better if the Chiefs had Gaines but that's just tough luck that we lost him this year to injury.

Worse OL, slightly better skill players even with the loss of Charles.

The front 7 is the same or worse due to injuries/age and your secondary is better.

I still think the way to beat the Chiefs is to spread them out and go no huddle because you don't really have a nickle corner and you don't have very much pass rushing depth. If a team can keep the banged up Hali and Houston on the field for long stretches they will be exhausted in the fourth quarter... I can't imagine either of them have been able to keep their conditioning up with the injuries they've sustained.

Bowe and Alex Smith played lights out that game. That will be hard to replicate.

The defense and running game is better though

I guess I see the improvements as big ones and I don't see significant fall offs at the positions we didn't improve on.

The big question is how will Reid manage the game with a lead.

Going into the 2013 game, they were a lot closer to the 2015 squad.

Problem was we ended the game with a squad that didn't belong there. We had a better team sitting in the locker room than we had on the field.

This is a very good question.

He needs to pull a Costanza and do the opposite of what he'd normally do.
