I admittedly don't look at draft rankings and all that until after the season, but he seems to be the #1 DT in the draft, does he not? Would he even fall to wherever we pick?

Branch is certainly a stud, but there is no way he will be available when we pick unless we tank the rest of the season.

Right now, I think Branch could end up working his way into a top 5 selection.

I'm hoping he slips a little ala Bunkley last year (who had climbed as high as a possible #8 overall). Unlikely given that he's a superior prospect, but we'll see.

I won't give up hope. I often do it and then guys I like not only make it to KC but fall right past them (and in some cases a couple of rounds).

DJ would be a solid example. At this point in his senior season, he looked like a lock to go top 7 or 8.
