That blocked punt

That really pisses me off. They need to go back, look at that, and think of how they ****ed that call up. And no, I'm not talking about the Chiefs. I'm talking about the dumbass referee with a lisp. How the **** do we block the punt, and somehow, the Chargers get a fresh set of downs. How do they **** up, but get rewarded. And I know people will say "Oh, but he touched the ball." I don't give a ****. He wasn't past the sticks, they shouldn't have gotten the first. It doesn't matter how he gets it, it matters that he gets it. That was a bullshit call, and if it wasn't for that, it probably would be 10-7 Chiefs right now.

And Phillip Rivers is a ****ing pussy ass wiping son of a bitch and I hope we blow out his knee and end his ****ing carrer, the douche bag sissy bitch.

Because one of our defenders touched it past the line of scrimmage. It's that easy. Think of the tons of times a punt is tipped and it only goes 30 yards. If someone bobbled it on the return team, it's fair grabs. I know it sucks, but thats the rule. What is worse is our defense was too discombobulated to defend the run and we let up a 85 yarder on the next play. THat was dispicable

The officials made the correct call. It is not that complex. The Chiefs touched the ball beyond the LOS. The ball is live. Who ever recovers it is going to have a first and ten. San Diego recovered. First and ten. You do not have to reach the line to gain in this situation.

Seen it before...guarantee you it is the correct call. I have made the call in a college game myself. The linesman stays on the LOS until the ball crossed the LOS just for this call.

Ass hat? Psh, what the **** is that? I know it's rule of the game, but they should make it so that they have to get past the marker, because that was their first down marker, 5 yards in front of the guy. It shouldn't matter if he recovers, it should mater where he recovers it. He didn't get past the marker anyway. That is flawed, and they need to change that.

we ****ed ourselves over on that one. The defender should have had that ball. It was right there in his hands. He ****ed that on up on his own.

That "rule" is slanted to the offense. If it had been a fumble on 4th down then it wouldn't matter how many Chiefs touched it and the Chargers then recover it and don't have 1st down yardage, Chiefs ball.

So what about this situation; Chiefs get a hand on the ball, it goes past the 1st down marker, Chargers recover with no more Chiefs touching it - Chargers ball, 1st and 10?

Seems lame and offers no incentive to attempt a block.

Next 4th and 25, I think Colquitt should try to nail a defender in the face with a punt. It appears to be a worthwhile strategy to attempt.

I've changed my opinion. It was the right call. For people who remember it, think of that Leon Lett play against the Dolphins on Thanksgiving when all of the defenders were waving him off of the ball in the snow that he slid into and the Doplhins recovered. Cowgirls fans were probably even more pissed than us, because they had a good team.

It passed the line of scrimmage so once the receiving team touches it, it's a live ball.
