Playoffs

Folks, I don't care if we came in the front door, side door, or back door.

We're going to the playoffs and we get Indy's run defense in the first game.

Tomorrow I may be cautiously optimistic.

Tonight, I'm frappin' delirious!

I think we're going to win today. I'm sure by Saturday I'll be convinced we're going to get blown out and will only watch the game because I'm a masochist.

The thing that I like is that there's no team that's unbeatable this year. Every team has a fatal flaw.

1. Indy has NO run defense at all. We match up well against them.

2. The Chargers have Marty at the helm, so you know that they'll go into a shell in the playoffs and lose.

3. The Ravens have no offense to speak of.

4. The Jets don't have a lot of firepower overall. Plus, they've got a Schottenheimer on their staff.

5. The Patriots have an adulterer as a coach. (Okay, that's the best I can come up with there.)

Right now I just keep thinking that these guys have a chance to be a team of destiny. They need to commit to not allowing any team to keep them from winning the Conference championship in Lamar's memory. What a great tribute that would be to hoist his trophy for the Chiefs for the first time.
