Oscars...

The nominees for best picture are "The Departed," "Babel," "Letters From Iwo Jima," "Little Miss Sunshine" and "The Queen."

My pick from this lot...Little Miss Sunshine.

I suppose Children of Men came out too late to be a contender this year..

I enjoyed The Departed more than Little Miss Sunshine. I have not seen the other three but want to see both Clint Eastwood movies (Letters from Iwo Jima on this list) and The Queen.

I've seen LMS and The Departed. LMS was good but The Departed kicked ass.

The only one i've seen thus far is Departed, but i def want to see Sunshine & Iwo Jima.

For those that have seen Departed...help me understand, was Wahlbergs character just taking revenge at the end or was he another dirty cop??? I spent a lot of time mulling that over after the movie & just cant figure it out.

That's what I thought, too.

He and Martin Sheen were pretty tight - maybe he was looking for revenge?

And he couldn't have been a dirty cop. Didn't he quit?
