prorated signing bonus, salary, the whole kit and kaboodle?

no ..... the signing bonus was paid by us and it's cap hit remains with us.

Tampa only takes on the base salary and any roster bonus money yet to be paid.

ESPN's John Clayton reports the Buccaneers were able to rejuvenate the career of DT Chris Hovan after the Vikings gave up on him. Now, DT Ryan Sims becomes the next Bucs project. The Bucs acquired him for what is believed to be a conditional seventh-round pick. For needs, the Bucs are desperate to find a three-technique defensive tackle. Sims was drafted to be a three-technique tackle in the mold of DT Warren Sapp. He's been mostly a bench warmer the past couple of seasons.

if Sims starts all 16 games and goes to the pro bowl do we get tampa's 1st round pick.

That would be sweet, but I am guessing if he makes the team we get a 7th rounder, and if the Bucc's cut him we get nothing.
