I didn't get to watch the game, I just saw the 2nd half...why did LJ only have 10 carries? that seems impossible...

If LJ had 30 carries we weren't winning that game. He looked slow (like he did early last year) and he went down easy at times. He also didn't get much in the way of holes.

If you are gonna lose, might as well only have LJ get 10 carries. Saves him for next year.

The running game was somewhat effective. The turnovers put us in a situation where Herm panicked and we got too far behind. Abandoned the running game. The Mario Williams TD was a dagger and sapped the life right out of the team. No-one stepped up as the leader to help the team regain its composure.

The first drive of the game we ran it down their throat. Medlock killed the momentum with the missed FG.

Long story short, we beat ourselves. Other than that long pass to A. Johnson, Houston didn't muster any offense until late in the game. Their running game then wore down the defense.

DId you see the run early in the game where is picked up the 3rd and 6?? LJ is fine, it was the game plan, that he not play much.

I don't think there's anything wrong w/ him, I just think he really is a "slow starter". That run was a product of either cowardice or ingenuity on Solari's part...I'm not sure which.
