AT&T Sucks!

So the AT&T trucks are at my neighbor's house the other day. They drive off I think nothing of it. The next day they are back. They drive off, I think nothing of it.

So the wife comes home and says "is the phone off the hook cause I am getting a busy signal when I call..." so we figure out we have been without a phone for a couple days.

So after searching all over the flipping web site and fishing through automated answering porgrams I finally....hold onto your seat..."GOT TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING!" I shit you not!

So after explaining this and how I am just otherwise not in need of their service and ready to cut them and use my PCS exclusively I get a sales pitch. Then I say "I work for Sprint" and I get another sales pitch.

Finally I am transfered to the reapir department. They try and test my line and can't. They have no idea why I have no phone and are going to try and get someone out today.

So I figures why am I paying these people $40 a month when I get PCS for damn near free even?

I thought SBC was bad but man AT&T just sucks ass. I apologize to any AT&T folk here in advance.

No apology needed. Many times we feel the same. I get a discount...otherwise.....who knows?

BTW, SBC is now AT&T...or at least using the name.

Anytime you see an AT&T truck in your area, go ahead and call a trouble ticket in. Even if they working 5 houses down. They are sure to somehow cut your line.

AT&T disconnected our DSL line for no reason at an office I worked for several years ago. When I called to report the problem they said that since it had been disconnected (even though they had no work order to do so) I was going to have to work with install instead of repair, and that install was backed up 2 months.

Time Warner was out the next day to hook up cable modem.

Ours has been down twice over the last two weeks. Turns out that some hoodlums have been stealing the copper.
Not AT&T's fault, but i thought it was noteworthy.

I went round and round with them a couple of months ago. I finally got a human who is in St. Louis. He gave me his phone number and now I can get things done when needed. He said they are doing away with the Indian CSR's.

Well turns out my phone line was buried all of 2 inches so when I had the yard airated they cut the line
