Speaking of which, Striker was pretty solid on color last night. There were a few hiccups, but for the most part he did what a color guy should do and added to the broadcast. Grisham/Striker as a permanent team would be pretty decent, too, not that I want them to push The Tazz out or anything.

Anyways, I can't see Punk dropping the title to JBL, though. That would be transitional-to-transitional, because there's no ****ing way they're planning on a long run with JBL.

Yeah, REALLY looking forward to that one. Team Work makes its triumphant return to Chicago (Danielson & Aries). The Team Work name was born in Chicago when the two tagged in a dream partner tag match. At one point in the match Danielson yelled out to Aries (loud enough for every fan to hear), "Hey, maybe we should try some teamwork.". Then for the rest of the night, every double team move earned a huge "Teamwork" chant.

Also, ROH turned Claudio Castagnoli heel masterfully this past weekend at the Hammerstein. He was eliminated in a 4 corner elimination match and while walking away from the ring, came back and beat the holy hell out of Bryan Danielson, including placing a chair on his head and stomping on it. In ROH, EVERY babyface turns instant hated heel when they do something like that to the beloved Dragon. Classic heel turn writing by ROH.

That's what I figure. I think they might be setting up a clean Punk win (remember he had JBL up for the GTS) and then a long-term program with Jericho.

That's assuming it still isn't going to be a 3-way with Jericho added monday. Who knows with WWE...
