Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Watched American Beauty for the second time last night, i'd kinda forgot just how much i love that flic... incredible story, killer cast.

It really makes me think, humorous but very deep at the same time.

Secretariat was OK. I didn't really know anything about the horse so learning about it was pretty cool.

Wasn't as good as Seabiscuit, though.

Diane Lane has some nice ****in' titties for sure.

Check her out in the early 80's movie "Ladies & Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains", a movie about a rebellious girl who starts a punk rock band. It's a decent movie and it's pretty interesting to see her and Laura Dern at such a young age.

Rented two last night, The Eagle & Hobo With A Shotgun.

Eagle was excellent, based on the true story of a 5000 man strong Roman legion that was wiped out north of Hadrians wall in Scotland. Solid acting, incredible locations & the action sequences are as good as i've ever seen, choreographed & shot with a very distinct style, brutal & fast. Very well worth $3.

Hobo, what can i say? the title pretty much says it all, think back to a saturday late late show on KPLR & you've got this movie. Mindless, down & dirty fun.

Loved it, there were some real 'hollywood' moments in there that i didnt care for, but overall i thought it did an excellent job of giving you a sense of the constant tension those guys are under.

I loved the end, after all he'd been through he's all of sudden thrust back into suburbia, grocery shopping with his family. It must be an incredibly odd transition for all of those guys to make.

I loved it. It was my 3rd favorite film of 2009. It certainly deserved its Academy Award for Best Picture.
