Boulevard Smokestack Series Beer

Has anyone tried these? I saw them in HyVee yesterday and thought about picking up a couple of bottles, but passed. I'll probably go back and buy some, but was curious if anyone else has tried them?

OTOH, I ordered a Nutcracker (my favorite Blvd brew) from Paddy O's on Saturday. They had their tap head up and everything. What I got was a stout, which I'm not incredibly fond of to begin with. Ruined my palate for the evening, believe it or not.

Sixth Glass is a trappist style...mmm. I've always enjoyed Saisons..and IPA..gah. I'll pick em all up.

Interesting - not my style though. I find Tripple's, Quad's, Golden's to be too strong for my taste; unless you are tulry pairing them with a meal. Drinking them for drinking's sake doesn't work for me.

I have a few buddies here that might like that for a Christmas gift - can I buy and then have beer shipped?

I've shipped beer before. Just wrap each bottle individually with bubble wrap and pack the bottles in a box. Leave lots of space between each bottle with plenty of packing material between them.

I doubt they ship it. I saw it in a grocery store in south KC.

They only sell in this area, Kansas, Mizzu, Nebraska, Oklahoma….

Those are called "hops". They add flavoring and aroma to beer.

I'm a hophead, so the more the better IMO. I'll have to try that double IPA.
