If you have proof that signature is legit, you can DEFINITELY pay some bills

Without authentication you are looking at $30-50, maybe. And that is a strong maybe. Never know, maybe you get lucky and can find a sucker for a $100 bill, but good luck.

Authenticated helmets routinely sell in the $75-150 range.

If it were me, I would just keep the helmet as a keepsake or give it away as a gift.

FTR Joe signs A LOT. Thus the value of even his authenticated autos or not quite what you would think.

Ah, the classic but it is worth this much because some pricetag. Now find me prices that have sold recently.

Forget beckett price guides, LCS prices. The best way to gauge value in the Sportscard or Memorabilia market is ebay, period.

I find it hard to believe that authentic autographed Joe Montana helmet only goes for $75 - $150.

Most people don't remember this, but early in his career he also played for another team, the 49ers. It's good trivia for a bar bet.

Yeah, my wife bought me an autographed Marcus Allen Riddell helmet about 15 years ago and it would take at least that to get mine.

I think she gave almost $500 for it back then.

This is why autographed Button Gwinnett Chiefs helmets are worth so much.

Sold Yesterday with a COA.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/JOE-MONTANA...EAAOSwyP5aMFu4

Best offer was accepted. BIN was 69.99.

Probably went for $40-50 would be my guess.

Condsider now the OP doesn't have COA. No idea if mini, f/s, or f/s replica.

The prices certainly come down there, its a shame whats happened to that market... its why I quit collecting cards years ago, its just too saturated and everything gets devalued

My advice to op though, is do your research... maybe there is something special about yours, wont know until you study up

The best way to make money in the sports card market is to buy now and sell now. New is always popular and hot.

My wife bought me a signed Joe Montana Chiefs helmet with COA years ago and paid 400.00. It should be worth at least that much.

Joes signature does not look like it says Joe Montana, by the way. lol
