gosh, seeing that makes me want to jump on the top of my roof and yell I LOVE HONDA! and not even be embarrassed about it.

seriously, i cant wait for those to come out. i just hope that they dont end up costing 30 k more to negate to cost on fuel savings thus making it 10 years to recoup your investment.

thanks for the post man, repost or not

Wow $600 a month lease. That pretty steep. Limited refueling stations. Seems like they have a ways to go before the general public can take advantage. But they are a lot closer than they were a few years ago.

The home refueling stations seems like a bright idea. I wonder what the cost of something like that will run?

i wonder what the hydrogen costs at the fuel stations they have already.

i can't wait until some type of home based fuel cell is widely available and cost effective. i know there are some companies now that specialize in industrial size fuel cells. hopefully it won't be too long before they jump into the private market.

I was enthusiasitic until I found out that it uses natural gas to produce the hydrogen so it really is not the technology leap we are hoping for quite yet. Reduces carbon emissions by 30% which is good but facing facts that is still a big reliance on carbon based fuels. Also only 270 miles per fillup is not conducive to much more than a commuter car. Still a big advancement and a great first step.

I could care less about zero emissions, I care about 68 mpg. If a car put out acid rain and got 100 mpg, I would drive it. I just care about saving money.
