We all know there has been information and misinformation released about each of the candidates.

In your opinion who has been impacted the most and why?

Its really to early to make that determination. Seems like we are seeing disinformation that is the normal level where each candidate puts out their own fluff. That is not the same as mininformation or lies told by one side or the other. Give it time for the truth to come out.

The answer is obviously Obama. Being the least known and least experienced (not to mention, least qualified) candidate, he's subject to a lot more misinformation, both positive and negative, than his better known rivals. While others are spreading stories that he attended a radical islamist madrassa, he's trying to spread stories about how he's been against the war from the beginning or about how he's prepared to unilaterally withdraw from NAFTA (while reassuring the Canadians that they shouldn't take the threat seriously) or about how he wasn't aware of the nature of his radical pastor's controversial rhetoric despite 20 years of membership and attendance at his church and a very close personal relationship with that pastor, etc., etc., etc.

By the very few answers here we see that most think that Obama has been hurt the most by disinformation but there has been no backup to authenticate the feeling they have.

McCain and Clinton seem to be riding high or the information about them has not been facts and not disinformation.

Hillary lives and dies by her own word.

There was an attempt to discredit McCain by saying that he crashed 5 different aircraft during his time in the Navy. This story turned out to be mostly manufactured opinion of events in his career and outright lies. He lost 3 aircraft. Shot down in Vietnam, crashed trainer (common in those days), and had an aircraft mechanical problem that went down. What was never brought up was that he was never grounded by a board of officers that reviewed each and every one of the incidents discussed. The other two planes he was credited with crashing were not actual crashes. He was in the cockpit waiting to launch on the USS Forrestal when a zuni rocket was fired from across the flightdeck and hit his plane, he scrambled out to avoid the fire. The other was an event when he flew into some power lines while flying low. An attempt to tie this to the incident in Italy somewhere around 1999.

You didn't ask who'd been hurt most by disinformation. I think Obama has been both helped and hurt. It's the nature of being the least well known of the three that he gets to pretend to be someone he's not and the other candidates get to attempt to define him as someone he's not.
