I'm not sure what value pictures of Obama with random people are on Ebay in any case. Maybe there's a market there I don't know about.

Whether this guy is an eBay guy or not, isn't so much the point. Obama takes photos with people all the time. They obviously felt differently about this guy than they did about lots of other people.

Funny thing is, if you read the link I provided above, that photo is of a guy who just gave Obama a Steven Colbert "WristStrong" wrist band (to raise awareness of wrist injuries) to wear (he put it on and posed for the photo).

I imagine that the political trail is about like the NFL with the collectors. Every time I'd go to the player's hotels, there were always these freaking sychophants who had huge bags of shit they were trying to get signed, most of which they were going to try to sell on EBay the next day. The players all recognized them and even knew some of them by name. It wasn't a big secret or hard to tell who they were. Some players would amuse them if they had the time and inclination, others would be hugely annoyed by them. Almost all would be annoyed by them if they were trying to have quality time with their families and these hounds kept interrupting and harassing them. It's probably about the same on the campaign trail.
