Prefix icons for D.C.?

As you've probably seen in the Lounge, we're working on implementing prefix icons so that people can find the threads they are interested in (and hopefully eventually, not see the ones they aren't interested in).

Would such a feature be useful in D.C.? I'm not in here enough to have any feel for it. If so, what categories would you like to have?

-----

EDIT: Here's the current list...

Politics
-U.S. Issues
-Int'l Issues
-Elections
-Environment
-Legal
-Economics
-General Politics

Religion
-Christianity
-General Religion

Would you like me to digitially illustrate a capital dome or building for you?
Or a bunch of talking heads all flaming one another?

I guess that's kind of my issue frankly. I can think of an icon to designate political threads, but how do you differentiate between them? Is there any point in having democratic threads vs. republican threads vs. general issues threads? My impression is that there's not, so I'd lean toward keeping D.C. "prefix-free."

If you guys think there are good categories that would be useful in helping you to keep track of your conversation, though, I'm all for it. Just let me know what makes sense. If I don't get any suggestions, we'll just leave it alone.

Maybe a religious topic icon and a political topic icon but that is about all that would be useful.

A douchebag icon would be good for all the threads jAZ starts.....

I think if you're going to have icons here you do it in a TIC sort of way. The same way tags seem to be going.

I think a religious or science decal might help as well.
