Gholston will be the #5 pick.....the more I look at that mock drafts now (unless Dorsey or Ellis are still on the board--which is unlikely, IMHO.)

The question then becomes, which OLineman will be the highest rated on the board when the Chiefs pick at 17?

Okay, guys...

if I were the GM (and these players were available--and I've tried to be realistic, given projected player "values" and teams picking ahead of us

Day One picks....

05. Vernon Gholston, or Chris Long...will be available, IMHO.

17. Brandon Albert, or Chris Williams.

35. Aqib Talib, or Brandon Flowers

66. Pat Sims, or Reggie Smith.

73. Carl Nicks.

82. Mike Pollak.

I'm having trouble remembering, but don't you typically have a pretty detailed, well-thought-out draft list before the draft? Or is it an eval you do afterwards? I don't quite remember.
