Comp Problem
Somehow I picked up a nasty little problem called (oddly enough) "Antivirus 2008". It performs scans... "finds" false threats... and asks for $50 to DL some software.

It can't be uninstalled through add/remove programs... has disabled my task manager... and gives me popups constantly.

Anyone else run into this? Is there an easy way to get rid of it? AVG couldn't... I've downloaded and am running Spybot now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... it didn't take care of Antivirus 2008, but it found lots of other things I didn't know were there. I've updated it, and am running it again.
