In my opinion, Dallas is a pretty obvious choice for #1 here, which would put them third in the tournament. 20 years of Staubach and Aikman, augmented by Meredith and Romo, makes them the choice.

Indianapolis and New England are prepping to slot into my next slots, and Pittsburgh is a distant 4th. Even setting my despisal of Elway aside, Denver doesn't belong in this heat.

This is true, but still, 20 years of them atop 11 years of Roger the Dodger and Dandy Don? I'd rather have that than 17 years of Manning and Unitas or 22 years of Brady and Bledsoe.

Admittedly, the ceiling on Manning and Unitas is notably higher, though. I wouldn't mark an answer wrong if someone prefers that.

Smh. Aikman pushing Dallas to the top here is just unfathomable to me. Sure, this place screwed up the SNL poll and the female celebrity poll. But this is football. I thought people on here were knowledgeable enough about football to discount the overrated career of Troy "Dilfer" Aikman. But I guess I should know better. The Dallas voters are probably the same morons that worship Gannon.
