Three Bucks!

I found three bucks!

I was just walking down the street on my way home, and I looked down, and there was a dollar. And so I picked it up, and it felt thick and it was three of them!

I think this was my second-greatest money find ever. When I was in high school, I found a $20 bill once, but it's long gone by now. I've got this three bucks burning a hole in my pocket now, and I may splurge on myself a little bit. Maybe buy a little something for the wifey, too, and maybe something for the cat. Somebody else's pain is going to be my pleasure.

Wonder what the value of the $20 bill was in 1970? Or so?

Coke. That's a good idea, but I'll have to wait until the weekend. I might get a rubber band for my cat. Maybe a McDonald's coffee for the wife. And for me? Maybe...I don't know...a coke sounds good.

$20. Is this a trick question?

And it would have been in the 80s, for your information. The 80s. As in Cyndi Lauper.

It couldn't buy a McDonald's mocha at that point. So therefore, the three dollars may be worth more today.

You know...I think that I found $20 back then. Well, OK, it was proably closer to 1988, but I distinctly remember finding $20 under the seat at a Royals game back in the day.

you could buy 2 things from the "2 for $3" menu at Dairy Queen.

You could keep them in your pocket, and give them individually to the next 3 beggars that hit you up.

You could go into a truck stop restroom and buy a condom with a tickler end that looks like a miniature Jester hat for your bride's laughter.

You could try to find this amount 40,000 more times to pay your taxes.

You could use it on the shipping and handling for the "Extenz"free sample commercial I just saw.

You could cash them in for quarters and drop them near ladies with skirts on......
