Sorry, brain halfway shutoff, but the chick was the supplier of the (insert chemical name here that walt and jesse couldn't find). We didn't see her before as she was not important to the plot of the show, the purchasing was not relevant, it was all just there.

He had a very pained expression when his boss was talking about "He was right under my nose." That's the first time I thought Hank might be thinking about Walt.

I was irked that they spent even more time talking about the ricin cigarette, as it seemed that they had explained that detail to death. However, the pay off at the end of the 'search' just makes you despise Walt all the more. Jesse is wrenched in mental agony for a Walt-staged incident.

As for the 'precursor', Methylamine...first let me say that I work with chemicals daily - but I do not know, nor desire to know, the chemical route to any 'entertainment' compounds. But their use of methylamine is at least partially fuzzy truth. Methylamine is a gas at room temp/pressure - it is very similar to ammonia, with one hydrogen being substituted with a methyl group. They would not be handling it in 55 gal drums, unless it was severely diluted in water - a very inefficient way of introducing a raw material. It would be shipped in pressurized gas cylinders like welding cylinders (or larger versions).

OK...that was just bugging me. Carry on.

Whatever it is, Wiki says the DEA has it listed as a Schedule 1 substance for producing Meth.

The way I see it, the Roomba rolls over on Walt and gets put in witness protection in Pawnee, Indiana, where he finds minor success as a DJ.

The stupid bitch is a chemist of some sort. She said as much when she was pissing and moaning about not getting the beverage she wanted during the meeting with Mike.

Ding, ding!

Totally thought the same thing. That look he (Hank) gave was fantastic. Just brilliant.

But this scene was so important to Jesse and Walt's relationship.

I loved this episode. It was everything Breaking Bad does well. When it's like this, when it hits like this, it really is about the best show on TV.

As he's saying that the cut to Hank. His face tells the story. He's putting the pieces together. He may not be 100% positive, but the idea has been planted. He suspects something now.

At least, that's my take.

I can't wait until Jesse puts an IPOD on the Romba making it a DJ ROMBA playing JustBeatIt.mp3 while Hank and Walk have a knife fight with their hands tired.
