ya, I jumped into the modded lobby a couple days ago. Got 60 million kills real quick and all of the cheats. It doesn't matter, I'm done with that game. It all about keeping up with the cheats and I don't like that.

My young brother does that crap, gets a game, plays a little bit, or until he gets stuck on a spot, or it's not easy enough, then he gets the cheats, beats it, then quits it because it was either "too easy" or it "sucks".....

Tried to download the maps, though I really am against the idea... basically peer pressure alone is going to make me get them, and it would not let me purchase M$ points; "system error".

My best friend got them and told me that they are, in the end, a waste of money. Nothing too exciting, lots and lots of camping spots on 1 or 2 maps (didnt say which ones - via text) and the game play is apparently quite awful. On top of that, to play the new ones you have to play most of the game types, you can't just play one I guess. Does anybody have a guess as to how long that will last? I would like to be able to play them however I choose.

So, I'm thinking about starting this game up. I haven't played an online FPS since Socom on PS2. Am I looking at the standard 1 week of getting my ass handed to me or will it be longer?

I have enjoyed them. It is lame that they are segregated from the other game modes and thus you have to play a variety of games instead of being able to pick. Ricochet HCTDM is awesome. I've also discovered I am good at HC HQ. Weird.

If you are good at FPS, about a week sounds right, if you aren't, then you'll just get owned always.

Thats like me trying to play Rockband, I suck at that shit and will never get good.

And I think I'm making the jump and gonna buy the new maps.
