After wandering in the wilderness for a good long while, I've finally found an effective loadout.

AA-12: Lethal in close quarters, comically terrible range
Claymore
Perks: Scavenger, Stopping Power, Commando

Claymores really make a difference on extending killstreaks, and the rate of fire of the TAR-21 really makes up for my general lack of accuracy. I swear, though, the knife is the most overpowered weapon in the game.

If it's accuracy you're worried about, i would go with the ACR... i love that gun.

Played some 2 vs 2 at my house last night. a few buddies came over... you can really tell who plays the game more.... i felt like a nerd... everytime i dropped harriers, helicopters, etc.... and they didn't have a kill in the game yet..... couldnt believe they played as long as they did... i would get pissed after getting tactical knife'd for the 300th time or hit with a sniper rifle in the head while running.

The 3 vs 1 at the end of the night was fun though. If they actually had a plan, i wasn't seeing it... they grouped themselves together like idiots and i kept mowing down groups of them....

at least until they did finally realized that grenade launchers were their best strategy... all 3 would randomly start shooting at me when i got close..... and they kept the game close(er).... so i made the switch to close quarters and they were worthless with the launchers...

Damn fun stuff... gonna have to do that more often.
